The 48-year-old Maybach Music founder finds himself being dragged by some people online after he comes to LeBron James's defense as he's drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers.

AceShowbiz - Rick Ross was trying to defend Bronny James from nepotism accusations after the son of LeBron James was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers. However, his attempt backfired as social media users roasted him back.

The 48-year-old got things off his chest in a video shared on Instagram. "Who was he suppose to play for? Go get that Nike money! Y'all let me know. Bronny soon as you get out there on that court, make sure you throw that baby powder in the sky! And you run out there and do that leg pump," he said.

"Nepotism, nepotism. Y'all make me sick, every two years y'all come up with a new word. Now it's nepotism," the Maybach Music founder further argued. "85% of all of you m***a f****s got a job, by somebody you know. And that ain't even what I'm referring to. Little Bronny a bigger star than 95% of the m***a f****s in the league now."

Unfortunately, Rozay got dragged by some people after posting the clip. "Nepotism new to you Rick Ross. We been knew that word," one person penned in The Shade Room comment section, while another wrote, "Bigging up someone else’s child while neglecting your own is nasty work."

"Ross your son has a FULL Scholarship to a respectable HBCU and you on the internet talking about another man's son accomplishments," a third chimed in. "This what Tia be talking about!"

The criticism didn't stop there, as more came forward by declaring, "You didn't even go to your sons graduation. We don't wanna hear from you." Someone else opined, "Him & his baby mom talk the same."
