The wedding festivities commenced with a welcome party at the Golden Bee, a cozy pub within the resort, where guests enjoyed live music and English pub fare.
On the wedding day, Stoll and Thayer shared an intimate first look where they exchanged handwritten vows. The ceremony took place in the presence of their loved ones, led by pastor Russ Stutzman from their home church in Colorado. As Thayer walked down the aisle to the tune of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love," she wore a classic Monique Lhuillier gown with its timeless elegance.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a multi-course dinner featuring a variety of culinary delights, including grilled beef tenderloin, Atlantic salmon, and wild mushroom tortellini. The party continued with signature cocktails, wagyu sliders, and breakfast burritos at the afterparty held in a private bowling alley at the Broadmoor.
The newlyweds opted for two exquisite cakes: a five-tier white vanilla bean confection adorned with fresh strawberries and buttercream icing, and a rich dark chocolate mousse cake. Both cakes were adorned with white fondant and live orchid flowers.
As Stoll and Thayer shared their first dance as husband and wife, the timeless melody of "Can't Help Falling in Love" echoed throughout the ballroom.
The couple first met at a party at the University of Nebraska in 2019 and instantly hit it off. They became inseparable after their first date at a frozen yogurt shop. Stoll proposed on April 3, 2023, at a private rooftop in downtown Denver, setting the stage for their unforgettable wedding.
