Set to Queen's iconic track "Under Pressure", the initial part of the video captured the duo's comical failed attempts with giggles and missed counts. However, they finally got it right, revealing Bertinelli in an elegant white suit with subtle waves in her hair, and Goodnough sporting a sleek black suit paired with sneakers.
"Sooo... tried to make one of those newfangled transition videos like the cool kids. It went...well...like this [a slew of laughing face emojis]. (We'll never be the cool kids)," Bertinelli captioned the post, tagging Goodnough's Instagram account.
The previous day, June 7, the couple had made their red carpet debut at the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles. Bertinelli was nominated for Outstanding Culinary Host for her work on the now-canceled Food Network series "Valerie's Home Cooking", which was also up for Outstanding Culinary Series. Goodnough hailed her, saying, "There's very little better than seeing somebody you love get the recognition, get the roses."
On the red carpet, Bertinelli couldn't stop gushing about her new flame, describing him as "brilliant, smart, funny, talented...kind and thoughtful." She added, "He's patient with me, God knows I need a lot of patience. I mean, look at him. He's a hot piece."
