Four years after her ex-husband Tommy Manzo was charged with hiring a mobster to attack her now-husband Dave Cantin, the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' alum expresses her relief that she's finally received justice.

AceShowbiz - On Tuesday, June 4, a federal grand jury convicted Thomas "Tommy" Manzo, the former husband of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" alum Dina Manzo, on charges related to a violent assault that occurred in 2015. Tommy hired a mobster to harm Dina's then-boyfriend, Dave Cantin, in exchange for a free wedding reception at the family's venue.

Dina expressed her joy on social media, posting a quote about reclaiming her power and healing from the trauma. She also shared a photo with Dave celebrating their victory.

Tommy faces up to 46 years in prison and a $500,000 fine. John Perna, the mobster hired to carry out the assault, previously pleaded guilty and served three years in prison.

In 2020, Tommy was also charged in connection to a home invasion targeting Dina and Dave. He was sentenced to two years in prison for his role in that case.

Dina and Thomas Manzo separated in 2012 after eight years of marriage. Dina went on to marry Dave Cantin in 2017. Tommy's sister, Caroline Manzo, is also a former "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star and supported Thomas after the assault.

Dina's victory marks a significant chapter in her journey to regain control over her life and seek justice for the violence she endured.
