Blue singer Duncan James finds himself in a hospital bed again in order to receive an urgent medical attention after a recent operation took an unexpected turn.

AceShowbiz - Blue's Duncan James, 46, was rushed back to the hospital on Friday, May 31 after complications arose from an operation he had undergone two weeks ago. The singer took to Instagram from his hospital bed, explaining that doctors were forced to correct the previous procedure. While the exact nature of his surgery remains undisclosed, it evidently required urgent medical attention.

In a video shared with his 418K followers, James expressed his disappointment about missing two scheduled gigs, stating, "I was admitted to have a correction of a procedure that I had two weeks ago that went a little bit wrong. So I was rushed in and had it all fixed, I was kept in overnight and I'm just waiting to find out if I can go home today - fingers crossed."

He added, "It does mean I won't be able to attend the foodies festival today or the Hits Radio Live in Liverpool today which I'm gutted about because I really wanted to do that, but the doctors have told me I need to rest up, I need to heal."

Despite the setback, Duncan assured his fans he is on the mend, saying, "I am getting better." His bandmates, Lee Ryan, Simon Webbe, and Antony Costa, will continue their performances without him for the time being, with James sending his love and support their way.

This incident follows a bout of trolling that James experienced last year when he shared a video about undergoing facial treatments. The pop star, who suffers from the long-term skin condition rosacea, received backlash for what fans perceived as "excessive" beauty procedures.

However, the treatment he received - a non-invasive BYONIK cellular rejuvenation treatment - was aimed at managing his condition by reducing inflammation and boosting skin health.

Rebecca Elsdon, who treated Duncan at the Re-Skin clinic in South Sheffield, explained, "The BYONIK treatment focuses on improving overall skin health and promoting the natural rejuvenation of the skin. Offering a comprehensive approach to enhancing the skin, it is used to address inflammatory issues like eczema, dermatitis, acne, and rosacea."

In addition to his rosacea, Duncan also copes with cauda equina syndrome, a severe condition that compresses the nerves in the lower back, potentially leading to paralysis if left untreated. Hence, his medical matters are not only about aesthetics but are critical to his overall well-being.

Fans have poured out their support with messages wishing him a speedy recovery, and James has promised to keep them updated on his health journey. As he focuses on recovery, the singer's determination to return to the stage showcases his resilience and passion for his career.
