The 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star takes to her social media account to share updates on her condition after witnessing a mass shooting scare over the weekend in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Aydin is fortunately safe and sound. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star took to her social media account to share updates on her condition after witnessing a mass shooting scare over the weekend in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

"This was the mayhem on the boardwalk yesterday," the 47-year-old wrote on Instagram alongside a clip from the incident. "We're still unsure of what happened. But everyone in our camp is safe. If anyone knows what happened leave it in the comments."

The video saw a huge crowd of people dispersed all over a boardwalk as they feared that a mass shooter was on the loose. Sirens could be heard blaring while Jennifer's kids sounded worried in the background.

According to NJ.com on Sunday, May 26, confusion grew among the beachgoers at the scene. People "ran from the boards, racing down the exit ramps onto the streets in a panic, as officers raced to the oceanfront on foot and in cars, guns drawn and trying to find gunmen or victims," the outlet stated.

Police detective Steve Korman said that officers never found any proof that someone was shot or injured during the commotion. While it's still unclear what caused the chaos, social media videos featured people running in all directions in panic with armed officers patrolling.

Meanwhile, some fans were more focused on the fact that Jennifer is residing in Seaside Heights. "Can't believe you actually bought there.. I'm sorry, but what were you thinking?" one asked. Someone else added, "Seaside Heights used to be such a great family place. Now it's a f**king cesspool. Why anyone sits in hours of traffic for this s**t is beyond me."

Jennifer didn't respond to the backlash, though the mom of five shared on Instagram Stories she and her family decided to "stay in" despite the mayhem. "The kids were a little upset. We had like an at-home slumber party," she wrote in her post.
