In an interview with Piers Morgan, Scottish lawyer Fiona Harvey denies allegations that she's stalking Richard Gadd, calling it 'completely untrue and very career damaging' claims.

AceShowbiz - Scottish lawyer Fiona Harvey, who is allegedly the real-life Martha on Netflix's series "Baby Reindeer", is speaking out against the streaming service. In an interview on Piers Morgan's "Uncensored", Harvey threatened to sue Netflix for "defamatory" work of fiction.

Harvey claimed that she was "forced" into telling her side of the story after "Baby Reindeer" became an enormous global hit. While Netflix claimed that "Baby Reindeer" is a "true story" that is about comedian Richard Gadd's experience with an alleged stalker, known as Martha, Harvey dubbed the show a "work of hyperbole" and "work of fiction."

Harvey said she didn't watch the show, saying that the show had already "taken over enough" of her life. "Not at all. I've heard about the court scene, about the jail sentences and all this sort of stuff… I haven't watched any of it," she told the host.

She later set the record straight about claims that she met him anywhere outside the bar, contacted his friends or family, heckled him or assaulted his girlfriend. According to Harvey, she only met Gadd at the bar where he worked 3 or 4 times, exchanged a few emails with him, and give him the "Baby Reindeer" nickname.

"It is completely untrue and very career damaging. I want to rebutt that. I'm not a stalker. It's just complete nonsense," she insisted. When asked if she had something to say to Gadd if he's watching, Harvey said, "Leave me alone, please. Get a life, get a proper job. I am horrified at what you've done."

In the episode, Harvey additionally claimed that she was prepared to take matters to the court. "I will be taking legal action against Richard Gadd and Netflix," she said. "We have instructed lawyers in part, but we want to explore all of the options out there. There are a number of people to sue."

Netflix and Gadd have yet to comment on the matter.
