The 'Icy Girl' raptress is lauded for her 'drama free' response after the social media platform mistakenly named Ice Spice as an artist who is going to release new single 'NANI' on May 17.

AceShowbiz - Saweetie has responded after X, formerly known as Twitter, mixed her up with Ice Spice. Instead of getting riled up, the rapper/singer shed a positive light on their similarity that might confuse the social media platform.
On Tuesday, May 7, X helped promote Saweetie's upcoming song "NANI", which is set to be released on Friday, May 17. However, instead of naming her, the platform mentioned Ice Spice as an artist who is going drop the said song.
"Ice Spice Drops Summer Anthem 'NANI' May 17th," the topic read. Catching wind of it, Saweetie took a screenshot of the mix-up and posted it on her own account to alert X as she wrote, ".@X yall gettin the pretty girls mixed up."
Many have since praised Saweetie for turning the gaffe into something positive. "She was so nice with her response," one person commented after The Neighborhood Talk reposted Saweetie's tweet on its Instagram account. Another weighed in, "Love how she handled this."
"Saweetie is so sweet," a third fan gushed, while another claimed, "She so drama free I love her." A fifth person similarly declared, "Saweetie handles everything gracefully frfr." Another remarked, "Saweetie for the classy reply!!!!"
Other similar comments read, "She always gives pretty girl energy," "Sweetie is my kinda gurl," "And this is why I lovvveeee saweetie, shes such a girls girl" and "And she responded like the girl's girl she is, IKTR."
While "NANI" is Saweetie's upcoming song, Ice Spice herself is also scheduled to release her new single titled "Gimmie a Light" this Friday, May 10. On Tuesday, promotional vehicles bearing the raptress' name were spotted in the Bronx with smoke emanating from the pink Range Rovers.
It's unclear if X has responded to Saweetie's tweet, but the raptress has shared on her Instagram Story a screenshot of X's topic with her name as an artist who is going to release "NANI".
