On Thursday, May 2, the star pulled a leggy display when attending the King's Trust 2024 Global Gala in New York City. The "Underworld" star rocked white one-shoulder asymmetrical organza dress with organza details. She flaunted her waist as the ensemble's bodice only covered a portion of her torso.
Kate had her blond tresses in an updo and wore a black bow similar to the one she styled in the hospital. Pairing her style with towering white open-toe platform heels, the beauty also had an emerald green bejeweled clutch to give contrast to her look that night.
The "Van Helsing" star additionally sported a pair of one-strand diamond dangle earrings and a couple of diamond rings. She sported shimmery eyeshadow and nude lipgloss for her glam.
Speaking with PEOPLE, the former girlfriend of Pete Davidson admitted that this year has been "rough." She added, "Because my parents have both been unwell and my cat ... it's been a bunch of things. So that's why it's nice to come and see friends and have a little perspective. Everyone's had a bit of a rough year, I think."
Kate's red carpet appearance comes after she was hospitalized in March, though "The Widow" star didn't reveal details about her illness. "Thank you to those that love us and support us when it's s**t and try to make sure there are some bits that aren't," she wrote on Instagram.
She added, "And for looking after our dogs when we can't, and lead us to remember happy things when we can't. And turn up when we are sick and sit with us . . And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love."
Kate was released from hospital last month. She took to Instagram to give a look at her latest condition while also hinting at her mystery illness. In one pictures that she shared, she could be seen wearing a shirt with the words "Tummy Troubles Survivor" written on it, suggesting that her recent hospitalization might be due to stomach-related issue.
