The Brazilian singer shares a peck on the lips with the Mexican artist after he surprises her with a birthday cake during her performance at Tecate Pal Norte Festival.

AceShowbiz - Anitta was treated to a sweet surprise on her 31st birthday, but it's probably Peso Pluma who came home with the biggest prize. The "Bang" songstress kissed the "Ella Baila Sola" hitmaker onstage after he surprised her at the 2024 Tecate Pa'l Norte festival in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.
The Brazilian star was celebrating her 31st birthday on Saturday, March 30, the same day she performed in Mexico. As is Mexican tradition, she was honored with "Las Mananitas" (the birthday song) by a mariachi and it came by the way of Peso Pluma.
Peso Pluma came not only with a mariachi in tow, but also a big booty-shaped birthday cake that he was carrying. The birthday girl looked surprised as the man who brought the cake was revealed to be the Mexican artist when he took off his balaclava mask, while the crowd erupted in cheer.
"Let's hear it loud for Anitta. Today is the birthday of the queen of Brazil, the queen of Brazilian funk, and she is in Mexico for the first time with us," Peso Pluma said in Spanish onstage. "Look at that cake," Anitta responded, before they showed the cake to the audience.
Peso Pluma playfully licked the booty-shaped cake before he and Anitta shared a little peck on the mouth after the fans chanted, "Beso, beso, beso (kiss, kiss, kiss)." He then left the stage after presenting her with the birthday surprise.
Meanwhile, Anitta continued her set by performing her hit song "Bellakeo". During the show, she also entertained the crowd by showing off her twerking skills and performing her other hits like "Envolver", Mil Veces" and "Funk Rave".
Anitta headlined day 2 of the festival along with other artists like Gabito Ballesteros, Danna Paola, 30 Seconds to Mars and Louis Tomlinson. Blink-182 was in charge of closing the main stage.
Anitta's sweet interaction with Peso Pluma comes several months after she sparked dating rumors with Italian actor and model Simone Susinna. However, in August 2023, she clarified her relationship status as saying, "I'm not dating anyone, I'm single. I've always been single."
