AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles has released her country album titled "Cowboy Carter". Shortly after unleashing the record, the "Break My Soul" hitmaker was showered with praise by many social media users, including one who deemed her a "legend."
As of Friday, March 29, the 42-year-old superstar's latest set has become available to be listened to on various music streaming platforms. The album itself consists of 27 tracks, including "BLACKBIIRD". She created the track with a number of fellow artists namely Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy and Reyna Roberts.
On the song, which was written by Queen Bey, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, she sings, "Blackbird singing in the dead of night/ Take these broken wings and learn to fly/ All your life/ You were only waiting for this moment to arise/ (You were only waiting for this moment to arise)."
The record also includes a single titled "PROTECTOR". It features Bey's second child Rumi Carter, who sings in the beginning of the track, "Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?" The mother of two joins in, "And there I was tangled up in marigold/ We were listening to the reverent children singing/ (Sing, sing, sing, sing, sing, sing) Yeah/ Humming low as the garden river flows/ While the August light becomes a golden evenin', yeah (Evenin')."
Aside from "BLACKBIIRD" and "PROTECTOR", the newly-released set features other collaborative songs. Among them are "SMOKE HOUR" and "SMOKE HOUR II" with Willie Nelson, "SPAGHETTII" with Linda Martell and Shaboozey, "JUST FOR FUN" with Willie Jones, "II MOST WANTED" with Miley Cyrus, "LEVII'S JEANS" with Post Malone, "THE LINDA MARTELL SHOW" with Linda Martell, as well as "SWEET HONEY BUCKIIN' " with Shaboozey.
After dropping the country album, Beyonce received many supportive responses from her listeners, including one who called her a "legend." The comment read, "The evolution of Beyonce is what makes her a legend. If you're looking for Lemonade or Crazy in love this is not it. Her attention to melodies, to lyrics and symbolisms is impeccable."
Similarly, another exclaimed, "Beyonce is just so talented. It's a very technical album and if aren't a music lover then it may be to advance so far I'm on Aligator Tears." A third added, "This album is well done!!! Anyone that dislikes this album is a straight hater. And I'm not in the Bey Hive at all. You can tell she worked hard on her craft."
