The 'Slow Dancing in a Burning Room' hitmaker allegedly denies having a throuple with the 'Vanderpump Rules' star, who recently hinted at their alleged hookup on the Bravo series.

AceShowbiz - John Mayer is not happy with Scheana Shay as she keeps suggesting that they once hooked up. According to a new report, the "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" hitmaker denied having a throuple with the "Vanderpump Rules" star.
"John has told several people close to him that he never hooked up with Scheana," an insider told The U.S. Sun. "He knows that she has been telling people they hooked up well before the 'Vanderpump Rules' episode aired and it's gotten back to him."
The "Gravity" crooner allegedly "is very annoyed by the entire thing and wants nothing to do with her." The source added that the 46-year-old musician did "his best to avoid" the 38-year-old reality TV star when they attended the same party recently. Scheana, meanwhile, was reportedly "trying her best to talk to John and even go as far as take a picture with him, but he shot her down."
Scheana recently hinted that she had an orgy with John in an episode of "Vanderpump Rules". While playing a game of "Never Have I Ever" with her castmates, she was asked when she had an orgy, to which she replied, "It was with an A-list celebrity."
While Scheana didn't name names during the episode, the Bravo personality gave out an obvious clue. "Once upon a time, my body was a wonderland, I'll say that," she noted. It seemingly referred to the Grammy winner's 2001 hit, "Your Body Is a Wonderland".
Back in a 2020 episode of the "Flashbacks" podcast, Scheana also insinuated that she used to have past indulgences with John. At the time, she said that she met John and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, whom he dated between 2008 and 2009, at a party at the Grand Havana Room.
Scheana claimed that she was invited to an afterparty, but she opted to skip the bash because she was too intoxicated. Despite that, John allegedly got his friend to get her number for him.
They eventually started dating shortly after he broke up with the "Friends" alum. "I was living with ['The Hills' alum Stacie Adams] at the time," she noted. "This went on for about six months. … It just became, you know, kind of the three of us. We had a little throuple going on."
