The Australian actress plans to open up about her sex life more in her upcoming memoir, 'Rebel Rising', but shares that she hopes that her story will send a 'positive message' to other people.

AceShowbiz - Rebel Wilson revealed that she had sex for the first time at the age of 35. Despite being a "late bloomer," the "Pitch Perfect" star is not ashamed of it, stressing that people don't have to lose their virginity as a teenager.

The 44-year-old spoke up about that matter when speaking to PEOPLE. "People can wait till they're ready or wait till they're a bit more mature," she told the outlet.

"And I think that could be a positive message," the Australian native continued. "You obviously don't have to wait until you're in your thirties like me, but you shouldn't feel pressure as a young person."

Rebel admitted that the teenage version of herself would leave the room when the topic came up. Now, the comedienne, who is in a same-sex relationship with fiancee Ramona Agruma, said that "if I had been born 20 years later, I probably would've explored my sexuality more. I just knew I was attracted to men, and that was the normal thing."

"And so when I started opening myself up probably more after my father's death and realizing, oh, even though I'd seen marriage as a terrible thing and waste of time, I started opening myself up to that," she explained. "And then only years later, meeting women and having feelings for a woman, and that, I just think it's a sign of where society kind of was."

Rebel will open up more about her love life in her new memoir, "Rebel Rising". Readers will also see the Robin depicter in "How to Be Single" calling out actor Sacha Baron Cohen in the book for his inappropriate behavior on the set of the 2016 movie, "The Brothers Grimsby".
