When responding to the allegations that she started a romance with her jiu-jitsu trainer, Joaquim Valente, before her split from the retired NFL star, the supermodel says many women who ended their marriages also face such salacious speculation.

AceShowbiz - Gisele Bundchen has vehemently denied cheating on Tom Brady before their divorce in 2022. The supermodel set the record straight in a new interview with The New York Times to promote her "Nourish: Simple Recipes to Empower Your Body and Feed Your Soul: A Healthy Lifestyle Cookbook".
"That is a lie," the 43-year-old told the outlet, responding to the allegations that she became an item with her jiu-jitsu trainer, Joaquim Valente, prior to ending things with the former football quarterback. "I really dont want to make my life a tabloid... I don't want to open myself up to all of that."
Gisele said many women who ended their marriages also face such salacious speculation. "This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful," she elaborated.
"They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family," the Brazillian native further explained. "Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified."
Gisele, however, refused to reveal the actual reason behind her split from Tom after 13 years of marriage. "No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship," she stated.
Of her new relationship, the mum of two told the Times, "This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first." She continued, "It's very different. It is very honest, and it's very transparent."
Gisele previously shut down rumors she and Joaquim were more than friends. She told Vanity Fair in March 2023, "He's our teacher and, most importantly, he's a person that I admire and that I trust. It's so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy."
An insider told PEOPLE Gisele and Joaquim did not begin dating until June 2023, eight months after she and Tom finalized their divorce. A source also told the Daily Mail that Tom, who also has son Jack, 16, with his 52-year-old actress ex Bridget Moynahan, has no issues with Joaquim and will try to keep things amicable for the sake of his three children.
