The texts, obtained by Straight from the A, purportedly began with Leakes confronting Williams about her alleged refusal to appear alongside her on Netflix's "The Upshaws". Leakes expressed shock and disappointment, citing their previous outings and shared experiences.
Williams responded, accusing Leakes of "choosing a side" amid her divorce from Simon Guobadia. She claimed that Leakes had not reached out to her during her time of hardship and accused her of prioritizing other relationships.
"You chose a side and I'm good with that," Williams wrote. "When people move differently, so do I."
Leakes refuted Williams' accusations, stating that she had intended to wait until they could talk in person and that she respected Williams' privacy during her split. She explained that she had limited interactions with Guobadia and maintained a distance from their relationship.
The exchange comes after Leakes called out Williams for allegedly refusing to film with her for "The Upshaws," which stars Mike Epps and Wanda Sykes. Meanwhile, Leakes has also been spotted socializing with Guobadia and another woman, entrepreneur Yassmin Ibrahim.
Guobadia, who is in the midst of a divorce from Williams, was previously linked to fitness influencer Jenelle Salazar Butler. The couple filed for divorce last month after 15 months of marriage.
