AceShowbiz - On Tuesday's March 19 episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen", actor Lukas Gage, 28, opened up about his rapid decision to marry celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, 40, after just two months of dating. Gage attributed the impulsive decision to a "manic episode" that lasted for six months.
Their Las Vegas wedding on April 22, 2023, was officiated by Appleton's friend, Kim Kardashian. However, their marriage was short-lived, with Appleton filing for divorce on November 10, 2023.
Gage admitted to Cohen that he was "surprised" by his own decision to get married so quickly. He referenced the matching furry jackets he and Appleton wore for their ceremony, which he called a "horrible idea."
When questioned about the rationale behind the impulsive decision, Gage expressed remorse, saying he didn't "know literally what went through [his] head." However, he also acknowledged his impulsive nature and admitted, "That's kind of how I roll. But that was probably one of the most unhinged things I've ever done in my life, and I'll probably have six other marriages."
Gage addressed rumors of infidelity, stating that there was "no cheating involved" and attributing his quick decision-making to his impulsive nature. He went on to apologize to Shania Twain, who performed at their wedding, saying it was "the biggest waste of her time."
Gage also expressed gratitude to Kardashian for officiating their ceremony and covering their wedding expenses. During their relationship, he noted that Appleton was involved in his hair care but hinted at dissatisfaction with the results. Gage suggested that he was unable to disclose further details due to a signed non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Following their divorce, Appleton is reportedly dating again while Gage joked that he is "dating [himself] right now."
