The Republican politician has launched a lawsuit against the Alphabet and its anchor following an interview about sexual assault allegation levelled against the MAGA leader.

AceShowbiz - Donald Trump has filed a defamation lawsuit against ABC News and its host, George Stephanopoulos, over statements made during an interview with House Representative Nancy Mace regarding the E. Jean Carroll case.

On March 10, during Stephanopoulos' show, "This Week With George Stephanopoulos," he implied that Trump had been found liable for raping Carroll, which Trump denies.

Trump's lawsuit alleges that Stephanopoulos' statements were "intentionally false and defamatory." The lawsuit argues that Stephanopoulos knowingly misrepresented the facts, as the jury in the case did not find Trump liable for rape.

"Defendant George Stephanopoulos was aware of the jury's finding in this regard yet still falsely stated otherwise," the lawsuit states.

The suit also criticizes Carroll's allegations and emphasizes that the verdict supported Trump on the rape accusations.
