AceShowbiz - JoJo Siwa might have heard what the public think of her new song titled "Karma". The content creator garnered mixed responses from social media users shortly after treating them to a snippet of the upcoming track.
On Monday, March 18, the 20-year-old artist made use of Instagram to upload a short clip, which she captioned, "Volume up," seemingly documenting behind-the-scenes of a music video. In the background of the clip, she played a snippet of her forthcoming song.
JoJo can be heard singing, "I was a bad girl, I did some bad things/ I swear I did it all for fun and it meant nothing/ It never happened, it was a secret/ Like when a tree falls in the forest, no one hears it/ Another late night, another crazy mood/ And I didn't think twice what it would do to you/ I was a wild child, you always knew it/ It was a matter of time before I blew it."
The YouTuber continues, "Thou shall not lie, thou shall not cheat/ Thou shall not get caught or you'll end up just like me, oh." She adds, "Karma is a b***h, I should've known better If I had a wish I would've never F'd around/ When I saw the pics of you and her I felt thе knife twist/ Karma is a b***h/ And she's with you right now."
Earlier that day, JoJo let out a photo, which she might use as the cover art of the unreleased track. The apparent artwork featured herself and her reflection, seemingly portraying her younger self. Over it, a message read, "I was a bad girl."
After sharing the posts, JoJo quickly received comments on "Karma" from Instagram users. While some of them praised her over the new music project, many others gave unpleasant online responses. One in particular sarcastically said, "JOJO I'm just wondering did u have vocal surgery to sound absolutely nothing like how u sound."
Another asked, "Like I can't get over it. THIS is your big secret?? JoJo still wearing cringy costumes with her face painted, singing badly only this time with autotune?? Haven't we seen all this before?" A third pointed out, "This might be the worst thing I've ever heard." A fourth added, "All of that promotion jus for it to sound like s**t "
