Around one week after announcing 'The Bolter' edition of the album, the 'All Too Well' hitmaker announces that she will also release another version called 'The Albatross'.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has treated her fans, famously known as Swifties, to another edition of her upcoming album titled "The Tortured Poets Department". The "All Too Well" hitmaker announced that she will be releasing "The Albatross" version of the set with a bonus track in it.

On Friday night, February 23, the 34-year-old singer entertained her devotees in Sydney, Australia as part of her "Eras Tour". When she was sitting next to her piano onstage, she told concertgoers, "It's good to have options. Everyone likes options, you know. I wanted to show you something if you will direct your attention to the main screen."

Taylor went on to reveal, "This is an alternate cover for 'The Tortured Poets Department'," prompting the concertgoers to cheer. She went on to explain, "And so this edition is called 'The Albatross' because there is an exclusive bonus song on this vinyl called 'The Albatross', and I can't wait for you to hear it."

That same day, Taylor also shared the exciting news on her Instagram page. She uploaded the new version's cover art, in which she can be seen standing up alone in front of a view of the ocean. In the artwork, her long tresses, which cascaded down her back, appeared a little messy. She is sporting an oversized long-sleeved white shirt.

In the same post, the "Bad Blood" songstress also let out a photo of the cover art's backside that included a close-up snap of herself seemingly wearing the same white top. In addition, the backside featured a message that read, "Am I allowed to cry?"

The announcement came less than one month after Taylor broke the news of her eleventh studio album. During her acceptance speech at the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4, she said, "My brand new album comes out April 19th. It's called 'The Tortured Poets Department'. I'm gonna go and post the cover right now backstage. Thank you! I love you!"

On February 16, Taylor surprised Swifties with "The Bolter" edition of the upcoming album. The particular version will feature a bonus track titled "The Bolter". She is slated to release "The Tortured Poets Department" and its two editions simultaneously on April 19.
