The demand comes after the 'Break My Soul' hitmaker was accused by the songwriter of taking 25 percent of songwriters' publishing on one of her songs from the 'Renaissance' album.

AceShowbiz - Tiffany Red has called out Beyonce Knowles over a songwriters' publishing rights issue. Making use of social media, the songwriter demanded the "Break My Soul" hitmaker not to take publishing rights from songwriters.

On Monday, February 19, Tiffany uploaded via Instagram a photo featuring a message that read, "My hope is that on Act II @Byeonce will #PaySongwriters a songwriter fee and master points and not take publishing or songwriting credit on any songs she did not write."

Along with it, Tiffany wrote in the caption of the post, "@beyonce, you have the opportunity to change the game for songwriters the way you've changed the game in everything else you do. I pray you'll answer this call. So many writers dream of the opportunity to work with you and play a part in your incredible music journey. They deserve to make a livable wage and feed their families from the music they create for you, too. #PaySongwriters."

The post came more than one week after Tiffany accused Beyonce of taking 25% of songwriters' publishing. On February 6, she released on Instagram a video in which she claimed, "The reason why I called out Beyonce is because Beyonce is the Michael Jackson of our generation. I talked to somebody yesterday, a manager of somebody who is a writer and producer on Renaissance," referring to Beyonce's album.

Tiffany went on to talk about one of the tracks in the set without mentioning the title. She stated, "The song was written six years before it got to Beyonce. She got 25% percent of the song." She continued, "The reason people who work for Beyonce dont talk is because they're all on NDAs. Because that's also how she works, she silences people so that nobody can speak."

The video was later reshared by a blog via Instagram before it received many responses. One of the comments read, "If you don't wanna give Beyonce 25% of your publishing then don't sell your song to beyonce. Go sell it to Lumidee. beyonce isn't forcing you to work with her. You want to write for beyonce because it's BEYONCE and that is why she gets publishing."

Meanwhile, another comment read, "I believe her and it's sad that black people in power have the same mentality as others. They're all about SELF preservation. She's speaking our 'wage' but we're so use to [an eggplant emoji] riding anyone with money. It won't change. We pick and choose when to gaf."
