The 30-year-old singer showed off his new haircut when attending a soccer match in the United Kingdom over the weekend. On Sunday, February 18, he watched an English Premier League soccer match between Luton Town and Manchester United at the Kenilworth Road stadium in Bedfordshire, England.
A video shared by NBC Sports Soccer showed him walking into the venue on Sunday afternoon. He looked neat in his short hair, but still longer than his previous buzz cut. His new mane was closely cropped on the sides with extra length on top, resembling an Ivy League style. He wore a blue-and-white sweater vest, which he wore over a collared shirt and underneath a black peacoat for a gentleman-like style.
A longtime Manchester United fan, the former One Direction member showed his support from the stands, where he was photographed near Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig. The Grammy winner appeared to have a blast watching the soccer game, flashing a wide smile while looking at the field.
The "Daylight" crooner also couldn't hide his emotion during the tense match. At one point, he was putting his hand on his face to close his mouth, seemingly to hold his disappointment, as he showed a concerned look on his face.
Many loved Harry's new hairstyle, with one weighing on his haircut, "His hair [a fire emoji]." Another commented on his look, "Oh I LOVE the short hair on him. Wow." A third added, "thank god baldry is gone," while someone else opined, "He's looking very different. Wouldn't have recognised him. Must be the hair cut."
Harry surprised everyone when he was first spotted with his buzz cut in November 2023. When fans expressed their disappointment over his buzz cut, Harry's mother defended her son on Instagram. She wrote at the time, "When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion, has always made every effort to make everyone feel seen and appreciated for exactly who they are. There's an irony in the negativity he's been shown for having a haircut. Sorry but I don't get it."
Earlier this month, another photo surfaced online, showing Harry with longer hair during a vacation in the Caribbean.
