Arianne Zucker Sues 'Days of Our Lives' Producers for Alleged Sexual Harassment

The soap star is suing Corday Production Inc. and executive producer Ken Corday for sexual harassment, claiming that former EP Albert Alarr touched her inappropriately.

AceShowbiz - Arianne Zucker has filed a lawsuit against producers on "Days of Our Lives". The soap star is suing for sexual harassment, claiming that former executive producer Albert Alarr touched her inappropriately.

In the suit, the 49-year-old alleged that Alarr would touch her in a sexual manner non-consensually and sexually harass her verbally during their time working together. She claimed that he would "frequently" make sexual moaning sound while pulling her in to his chest.

Zucker also noted that among the inappropriate remarks that Alarr made was telling one of her co-stars during a sex scene that he would "love to switch positions" with them. According to Zucker, who plays Nicole Walker on "Days of Our Lives", Alarr also said he "enjoyed" aggressive sex scenes.

When Zucker and other women took it up to producers at Corday Production Inc., their complaints were ignored. She also tried to make Alarr be hold accountable by meeting with the human resources department at Sony, the co-producers of the soap, "several times" between March and June of 2023, though it was to no avail.

Despite their complaints, Alarr was allowed to keep working on the show during the time. She claimed that the decision made her feel "violated and intimidated." Zucker is now suing Corday Production Inc. and its executive producer, Ken Corday. She also pursuing damages for discrimination, retaliation, negligent hiring and supervision as well as wrongful termination.

Alarr, however, was eventually fired from the long-running series in August 2023 after more than two dozen cast members had signed a petition. They said that they felt "very uncomfortable and distraught should he stay involved with the show."

"It is hard to overstate how heartbreaking I find this situation … It's important to set the record straight," Alarr said of being ousted in an interview with TheWrap. "Every day, I worked with hundreds of people, the overwhelming majority of whom would disagree with recent mischaracterizations of me."

"I have been in this industry for decades, and not a single complaint has ever been made against me until now. Many of the claims recently referenced in the media are simply false," he continued.
