The 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker drags the judge who is presiding over the YSL RICO trial, while the 'Tupac Back' spitter calls for justice for the 'Stoner' rhymer.

AceShowbiz - Drake and Meek Mill have spoken up on the leak of jail call between Young Thug and Mariah The Scientist. Defending their fellow rapper, both stars were outraged by the breach of privacy and dragged whoever responsible for it.

Drizzy first reacted to the leak in the comment of an Instagram post. "This gotta be some form of jail misconduct," he wrote on Thursday, January 25. "You gonna drag this talented man then not be able to control your employees using his personal business for their own gain?"

The Canadian superstar continued, "Somebody benefitted from this video even existing and that's shameful whole case is a wsh just 3 the guy and let him come home and continue bringing light to Atlanta ... "

The OVO Sound founder then reposted his comment on his Story and blasted Fulton County Judge Ural Glanville, who is presiding over the YSL Rico trial. He added, "S**t is disgraceful... is this a criminal case or atlanta social media promo Ural Glanville?"

Meek, meanwhile, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to cry out the injustice. "This is a top tier lawsuit your personal call not suppose to be on the street!" so the Philadelphia native, who has been advocating for prison reform, wrote.

The phone call that was circulating online on Wednesday appears to have taken place around Christmas or earlier in January. During the phone call, Thugger and Mariah said they missed each other and she thanked her boo for the icy chains and bracelets he gifted her from behind bars.

"What's up baby? Merry Christmas. I love you. Thanks for my gifts," she said in the clip. She then said of the gifts, "I like it a lot. I very appreciate it. Thanks baby. I wish you could be at home and put it on me." Thug replied, "You look beautiful. You look like a rapper now."

Despite the release of the clip, a spokesperson for the Fulton County Sheriff's Office told Billboard the recording of the conversation "was not leaked" and pointed out that Thug is "being housed at the Cobb County Jail, where the call took place."

Cobb County Jail also insisted that it wasn't a leak. "The Cobb County Sheriff's Office routinely receives and fulfills open records requests of phone calls and video visitations for Jeffrey Williams, also known as Young Thug," a spokesperson said. "The Sheriff's Office is obligated under Georgia law (O.C.G.A 50-18-70) to comply with these requests, except for protected communications between him and his legal team or clergy."

Thug has been locked up in Atlanta since being arrested in the sweeping YSL indictment in May 2022. He is currently fighting the case in highly-publicized trial, which began in November 2023.
