AceShowbiz - Kim Delaney faces lawsuit after allegedly hitting a motorcyclist and fleeing the scene. The "NYPD Blue" actress is being sued by Dzhamal Badalov over an accident that took place almost two years ago.

According to the court documents, obtained by TMZ, Kim crashed her car into his motorcycle when he stopped at a red light in Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles back in November 2022. The hit allegedly made him fly into the intersection and slam into the road. Dzhamal additionally claimed that the crash happened after the actress drove erratically down the street.

The suit further noted that Kim tried to drive away following the accident, but bystanders managed to stop her. Eventually, the TV star, who looked disoriented and intoxicated, got out of her car and called someone on her phone. The person on the line allegedly offered Dzhamal money in return for not calling the cops, but he turned it down.

The person then instructed Kim to flee the scene following the accident and she did. Dzhamal is seeking damages.

The news outlet adds that it wasn't the only lawsuit that the 62-year-old is facing. Other criminal charges have also been filed against her in relation to the alleged hit-and-run in Los Angeles and the details matched the story in Dzamal's lawsuit. She's due to appear in court next week.

Kim has yet to comment on the legal issues.

It wasn't the first time for Kim, who also made a guest appearance on "Chicago Fire", to get in trouble for driving under influence. Back in 2002, she was arrested in Malibu, California, for refusing to take a breathalyzer test after being pulled over by police. She was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving before pleading no contest to the charge. Kim was obliged to pay a fine and attend a mandatory drunk driving course and a two-year probation stint.
