The Kanan Stark depicter on 'Power' has a number of social media users come to his defense while others accuse him of consuming Ozempic to lose body weight.

AceShowbiz - 50 Cent appeared to have lost his body weight. The actor portraying Kanan Stark on "Power" generated mixed responses after showing off his slimmed-down look in new photos via social media.

On Sunday, January 21, the 48-year-old hip-hop artist/actor surprised social media users with his new appearance after he let out a series of pictures on his Instagram page. In the snaps, he looked thinner than usual in his semi-formal ensemble.

50 Cent, who is also known as Fif, sported a white tee that came with gray graphics on its front side, a pair of long ivory pants and a long-sleeved black velvet suit. He enhanced the look with a pair of white sneakers, a black leather belt, golden necklace, massive ring and wrist watch as well as several bracelets.

The photos saw Fif striking a number of poses as he stood up in front of a camera. Along with the pictures, he wrote in the caption of the post, "GLG GreenLightGang 2024 I'm gonna shake things up. time to work, let's get it! @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi," adding a traffic light emoji.

After releasing the snaps, Instagram users quickly voiced their opinions on the "In Da Club" rapper's different appearance. Some of them accused him of consuming Ozempic, a type II Diabetes drug that has been used by some celebrities to lose weight.

Despite the unpleasant comments, 50 Cent had a number of users come to his defense. One in particular reminded the haters, "Whats crazy is everyone said after [Chadwick Boseman] death, yall would be more respectful of people never know what they are battling and why they are losing weight but here yall are in these comments talking so crazy and yet again yall have no idea what 50 got going on. SMH."

Another penned, "Ya clowned him and called him fat when he performed shirtless at the Super Bowl. He lose the weight and ya clown him and say he's on Ozempic." A third wrote, "Every time black folks lose weight 'he sick' it's so sad to me! How about 'he's eating healthy and touring' tf." A fourth stated, "This is a perfect example of a man wanting to be healthy. It's not appreciated. People so judgmental."
