Social media users question the YouTuber/rapper's intention after sharing a new photo of his first child with the actress/singer but blurring the baby's face for privacy reason.

AceShowbiz - New dad DDG has come under fire after starting a new Instagram account for his newborn son Halo. Social media users are questioning his intention by exposing his first child with Halle Bailey after the couple was being tight-lipped about her pregnancy.

The rapper opened the account, which is run by the little boy's "stylist & dada," for his son on Tuesday, January 9. In the first post, the YouTuber showed off his son's outfit for his check up at the doctor. The father of one made sure to blur the baby's face to keep his privacy.

"went all black nike tech today for doctor check ups... nun too crazy," read the caption. DDG added in the comment, "type s**t.. let em know son.. this drip s**t gettin wicked."

The account soon garnered massive following, with nearly 30k followers in less than 24 hours since it was launched. However, not all the responses were positive. "What's tha point in makin ah instagram for a baby who's face yall don't wanna show?" one person asked in the comments section. Another mused, "A instagram for the bby but don't show his face....ok."

A third similarly pointed out, "Why not show the face you went thru all the trouble to make a page," as a frustrated user urged the first-time father, "Make up y'all mind y'all want privacy or attention." Another wondered, "I would think the blur is for privacy. So why post the baby at all," while someone else blasted DDG for the "lack of privacy for Halle and for the baby."

Some people, however, have supported DDG's decision to start the account for his kid. "Shouldn't see no negative comments. This is a young black father proud to be a dad," one person commented.

Another responded to the criticism, "Yk what's funny anybody can do this for they kids but watch DDG get hated for making this page im calling it right now bro." One other fan defended the 26-year-old, "He can make an account for his baby if he want! Y'all don't say nothing when everybody else do it. The jealousy is showing real bad."

DDG and Halle confirmed their first child's arrival by sharing on Saturday, January 6 a glimpse of the baby. In the image, "The Little Mermaid (2023)" star's hand was holding her baby boy's tiny hand. The infant could be seen wearing a gold bracelet etched with the name "Halo."

In the caption, Halle wrote, "even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son." She added, "welcome to the world my halo. the world is desperate to know you."

In his first vlog following the baby's birth, DDG praised his girlfriend for being "a great mom." He said he and Halle have no plans to show their son's face to the world. "This is too priceless," he boasted, before teasing how their baby looks like, "He's a beautiful baby and healthy baby."
