The 'All Too Well' hitmaker is complemented by the former 'Fashion Police' host for rocking a green gown 'in this sea of black and all these muted colors' at the 81st annual event.

AceShowbiz - Melissa Rivers has shared her opinions on celebrities' looks on the red carpet at Golden Globes 2024. The former "Fashion Police" host even showered Taylor Swift with praise for her "phenomenal" style when the "Shake It Off" singer attended the 81st annual event.

In a new interview published on Monday, January 8, the 55-year-old host/actress discussed several artists' appearances when they hit the red carpet of the show, which took place at the at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles one day prior. Among the figures was the "All Too Well" hitmaker, who attracted the attention of other attendees in an eye-catching green gown.

Speaking to Page Six, Melissa gushed, "Taylor Swift looked phenomenal." She went on to explain, "I loved [seeing it] in this sea of black and all these muted colors - green! The color was spectacular, the dress was spectacular," before noting, "I just would have liked the top to fit a little better."

At the Sunday, January 7 event, Taylor put on a busty display in a long dress that was fully covered with shimmering green sequins. The gown, which was long enough to cover her pair of pointed-toe matching high heels, came with a plunging neckline and several straps on the wearer's back, exposing her skin.

Aside from the "Blank Space" songstress' look, Melissa voiced her thoughts on Timothee Chalamet's all-black ensemble. "I had a moment of joy because I feel like someone was listening to me, and you know, I'm just here to do good. Timothee Chalamet wore a shirt, and I'd been complaining last year about him not wearing a shirt," Melissa said in the same interview with the outlet.

The former host of "The Apprentice" further stated, "And it almost brought a tear to my eye. He had on a shirt!" She continued, "It's like, there's two people who don't have to wear shirts: Lenny Kravitz and Harry Styles. If you are not one of those two, put on a shirt."

Timothee arrived at the show in a black shirt, which came with a V-neck design, long-sleeved glittery black blazer and a pair of long matching tailored pants. He completed the look with a black-and-silver necklace and a pair of glossy black leather shoes.
