The former 'High School Musical' actor remembers his first smooch that happened in a birthday party where they played the game of spin the bottle in a tree house.

AceShowbiz - Zac Efron had his first kiss in a game of "spin the bottle." The 36-year-old Hollywood star - who previously romanced Vanessa Hudgens and Sami Miro - has reflected on his first smooch, and while he didn't name names, he remembered enjoying the whole experience.
"In a tree house. We played spin the bottle. It was her birthday, and a bunch of us climbed up to the tree house. There were candles - it was pretty cool," he said to W magazine.
Zac was happy to reveal his first celebrity crush, and he quickly named Tia Carrere, who played Cassandra Wong - the singer of fictional band Crucial Taunt - 1992 comedy "Wayne's World". He added, "Tia Carrere from 'Wayne's World'. I loved her. She just seemed like a rock star."
Speaking of firsts, the "High School Musical" actor was also asked about his earliest acting job, and the role actually ties into his latest movie. He explained, "I think it was an episode of 'ER'. Maura Tierney, who plays my mom in 'The Iron Claw', saved me. My character had a bad gunshot wound and was tossed on the sidewalk in front of the hospital. Maura rescued me, and they pulled the bullet out. I'm pretty sure I died."
Poor Zac was previously named as someone's worst on screen kiss, as his "High School musical" co-star Ashley Tisdale doesn't have fond memories of an early smooch. Back in 2022, she told the "Not Skinny but Not Fast" podcast, "I'll tell you why it was the worst, okay? I had to kiss Zac Efron on 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody', and it's the worst because I am so close to him and he's like my brother."
"At the time, he was used to acting on like, Warner Brothers, which is CW, and we were on Disney Channel. And so he like, he tried kissing me with his tongue, and I was like, 'Get away from me!' I closed my mouth so fast. I was like, 'This is Disney Channel, we don't kiss like that on Disney Channel!' It's just weird when you're so close to somebody, and we'd already done the movie, I'd known him for years before. That is why it was the worst. It's just we're too close."
