AceShowbiz - DDG is seemingly having the last laugh amid the persistent baby speculation. Despite his apparent frustration over the unconfirmed rumors, the rapper has poked fun at the reports that he and Halle Bailey have welcomed a baby girl.
On Wednesday, January 3, the YouTuber trolled his followers by "finally" showing his "daughter." Making use of his Snapcat account, he let out a picture of him holding a baby doll in his arm while he held his phone in his other hand to take the selfie. "Finally showing my daughter," so he captioned the snap, adding three red heart emojis.
DDG posted two other pictures with a little girl, this time a real one. While it's unclear what his relationship with the infant is, she's a little too big to be his supposed newborn child with Halle. Over the pictures, he wrote, "She's finally here" and "Finally revealing her."
DDG shared the trolling posts after he denied that he and Halle have welcomed a baby girl. During a Q&A with fans on Snapchat, he replied, "No" to a person who asked whether he had a daughter.
Seemingly getting irritated by the question, he said, "I don't know why people [are] so invested in what I got going on. Mind your business. Go outside, touch some grass, bro." The 26-year-old continued, "It's weird. I genuinely don't understand why y'all be so invested in people that don't know you. Whatever going on in my life or her [Halle's] life is not going to change yours. Let's focus on ourselves."
Previously, the pair sparked a speculation that they have welcomed their first child after they shared a video of making Christmas cookies. In the clip, "The Little Mermaid (2023)" star's baby bump was no longer visible and the couple appeared to have leaked a baby's cry in another video.
Neither DDG nor Halle ever confirmed her pregnancy rumors, which started circulated online in August 2023.
