AceShowbiz - Shannon Beador has broken her silence following reports about John Janssen's new romance with Alexis Bellino. Upon learning that her ex-boyfriend is in a romantic relationship with her former co-star, the star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" admitted that she is "hurt" and "confused."
The 59-year-old reality TV star gave her response to John and Alexis making headlines for their alleged relationship in a new interview at "Hollywood Houselift With Jeff Lewis" season two premiere party. Speaking to E! News on Wednesday, December 6, she said, "I'm not going to lie, I've been hurt. I've been hurt a lot in the last couple of weeks."
On the reason why, Shannon explained, "Because, No. 1, John said that he didn't want to be in the public eye, and he's thrust himself more into the public eye at this point. So, I'm quite confused about that."
"John is very well aware of a lawsuit that I was involved in with Jim Bellino, and Alexis was involved in that lawsuit," she continued, referring to Alexis' ex-husband Jim's 2018 lawsuit against Shannon and her co-star Tamra Judge. "I was financially and emotionally devastated for years. And I won. But it devastated me financially. And I'm a single mom. John's aware of that."
During the chat, Shannon asked, "I don't know how to process it. How many Orange County's Housewives have there been? Is that your dating pool?" She also claimed that she hasn't "spoken to him in quite some time." She added, "It's been two months."
Shannon's statement came shortly after several sources spilled to some media outlets that Alexis and John are dating. On Tuesday, December 5, one of the sources revealed to PEOPLE, "Currently, they're not using labels like boyfriend or girlfriend, but they've been spending a lot of time together and have been enjoying learning about each other."
"The two have been supportive companions as they navigate newly single life. This common background paired with a mutual attraction has made it easy for Alexis and John to form a natural connection," the source added.
Prior to the alleged romance, Shannon dated John for four years before going their separate ways in 2022. After the split, they were spotted hanging out together several times following her DUI as well as hit-and-run arrest in September. Meanwhile, Alexis was married to Jim for more than one decade before breaking up in 2018.
