AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Mark Ballas and BC Jean. The "Dancing with the Stars" alum and his musician wife finally announced that they have welcomed their first child after keeping the exciting news a secret for one month.
On Tuesday, December 5, the 37-year-old professional dancer made use of his Instagram page to upload a photo featuring him, his 36-year-old wife and their bundle of joy. In the picture, the wedded couple showed their sweet interaction with their son.
Mark was photographed placing one of his hands on a bed sheet. In the meantime, Jean was holding their baby's little hand. Meanwhile, their son was lying on bed as his parents kept him warm with a green blanket. However, Mark and Jean are still keeping their son's face away from the public's eyes.
Along with the adorable photo capturing the family of three, Mark wrote in the caption of the post, "Welcome to Earth my son." He went on to spill the baby's name and birth date by simply writing, "Banksi Wylde Ballas 11 / 5 / 23."
Giving a similar yet different take was Jean who let out a similar picture on her own Instagram account. Accompanying the snap, she celebrated the baby turning one month old, "Banksi Wylde Ballas, Joined us earthside 11•5•23. Happy one month sweet boy. You are so loved."
It did not take long for the two posts to be flooded with congratulatory messages from Instagram users. Among them was dancer and TikTok star Charli D'Amelio, who exclaimed in the comments section, "CONGRATULATIONS!! SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH!!!!" adding a slew of red heart emojis. In addition, actress Sherri Shepherd chimed in, "Mark!!!!! Congratulations! And Banksi is going to do some great things."
The happy news came around six months after Mark and Jean announced that they were expecting their first child. On June 26, the two uploaded a video featuring a scene wherein she debuted her growing baby bump while posing next to him in front of a huge mirror. Over the clip, a note read, "Also, we've been making… a tiny human. Coming soon."
Mark and Jean started their romantic relationship back in 2012 before announcing their engagement in January 2016. The two tied the knot in November that same year.
