AceShowbiz - Ludacris went above and beyond to entertain fans. When performing at the New Orleans Saints NFL game against the Atlanta Falcons, the "Fast and Furious" actor rappelled down the top of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The 46-year-old did his stunt on Sunday, November 26 while rapping his 2001 track, "Move B***h". Although it looked terrifying, the rapper/actor seemingly enjoyed it as he shared a video of his performance on Instagram. He captioned it, "I Got Some Georgia Dome Today."
Many have since applauded Ludacris in the comment section. Among them was comedian Kevin Hart, who gushed, "Yes siiiiiirrrrr…..a legend doing legendary s**t!!!!!!!" Fellow rapper Russ raved, "Next level." The Game chimed in, "This right here [fire emojis]."
This arrived just a few days after Ludacris confirmed that he will release new music in 2024. "Yeah, some music projects will be coming out next year. I don't wanna fake, I don't wanna stutter-step," he said when speaking to BET earlier this month.
"I don't wanna be like [Andre 3000 (Andre Benjamin)] and say, 'I got an album coming out,' " he added. "I don't know. It's definitely some music coming next year, but I don't know if it's like an EP or an LP. We're going to figure it out."
On what inspired him to make music return, Ludacris explained, "These movie projects like Fast & Furious and doing a lot of things like the [Karma's World] project that's on Netflix - you know, doing other art forms where I'm creative, where I'm putting my heart into that - I want to make sure that I leave a legacy on this earth." He continued, "So it was just taking a step back and getting hungry again, living some life."
" 'Cause when you put out music, in order for it to be organic and real, you gotta talk about what goes on in your life," the rapper/actor further elaborated. "So if I had like nine consistent albums, sometimes you gotta take a step back and live some life so that you have a lot more to talk about and that's what I was doing."
