In Peacock's docuseries 'House of Kardashian', the former Olympian recalls inviting the late attorney to a dinner to convince him to end his marriage to the momager.

AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner played a huge role in her ex Kris Jenner's split from her ex-husband Robert Kardashian. In Peacock's docuseries "House of Kardashian", the former Olympian recalled inviting the late attorney to a dinner to talk about his marriage to Kris.
Caitlyn revealed that Robert hesitated to sign the divorce papers. "[Kris] was having a rough time with Robert in the divorce when I came into the picture," Caitlyn shared in the three-part docuseries about the famed clan.
"He was doing everything to kind of make her life miserable. I saw what was going on from the outside and just said, 'This is ridiculous.' So, I called Robert up and said, 'Hey, let's go to dinner,' " the "I Am Cait" alum recalled.
Caitlyn said that during the meeting, she urged Robert to quickly end things with the momager. "I basically said to him, 'Kris is moving on. Sorry, but she's moving on,'" she divulged. "I said, 'I can take over from here. So, let's just make this final signing of the papers as simple as possible.' And he did."
Kris and Robert eventually got divorced in 1991 and Caitlyn and Kris got married in the same year. Caitlyn and Kris, however, split in 2015, around the time when the Olympic gold medal recipient shockingly came out as a trans woman.
During the interview, Caitlyn also revealed her promise to Robert in his final days about Robert and Kris' children, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian. "He was really hurting," Caitlyn said of Robert, who died from esophageal cancer in 2003.
"And I said to him, 'Hey, remember if I was in your position, my only worry would be for my kids. That the kids are gonna get through this. I just want you to know that I will always be there for the kids,' " she continued.
