Bagging several trophies for categories announced before the live broadcast, the Canadian emcee currently leads the pack with five wins and the 'Good Days' songstress nabs four.

AceShowbiz - The 2023 Billboard Music Awards has only been kicked off, but some artists have already won big. Bagging several trophies for categories announced before the live broadcast, Drake is currently dominating with five wins, followed by SZA with four nods.

The Canadian emcee was named Top Rap Artist, Top Rape Male Artist and Top Rap Touring Artist. He additionally won Top Rap Album for his joint project with 21 Savage, "Her Loss", and Top Rap Song which he once again shared with 21 Savage for "Rich Flex". 21 Savage won another award for Top Collaboration, thanks to his feature on Metro Boomin's "Creepin' " which also features The Weeknd.

SZA's four awards were for Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Female Artist, Top R&B Album and Top R&B Song. She landed two nominations for Top R&B Song, but her track "Kill Bill" edged out "Snooze". She, meanwhile, beat big players like Beyonce Knowles, Chris Brown, Rihanna and The Weeknd for the Top R&B Artist accolade.

Still, Beyonce managed to snatch a few awards for Top R&B Touring Artist, Top Dance/Electronic Artist and Top Dance/Electronic Album through "RENAISSANCE". Miley Cyrus also won three so far, for Top Radio Song, Top Billboard Global 200 Song and Top Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) Song, all for her track "Flowers".

Zach Bryan also nabbed four as he was named Top New Artist, Top Rock Artist, Top Rock Album ("American Heartbreak") and Top Rock Song ("Something in the Orange"). Bad Bunny dominated the Latin category with three awards for Top Latin Artist, Top Latin Male Artist and Top Latin Album ("Un Verano Sin Ti").

BLACKPINK won Top K-Pop Touring Artist. Meanwhile, Karol G won a few awards which were announced early in the live ceremony, including Top Latin Female Artist and Top Latin Touring Artist. She also shared the Top Dance/Electronic Song award with David Guetta for their collaboration "I'm Good (Blue)".

More winners, including those in top categories such as Top Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album, will be announced later during the live ceremony, which is taking place at different locations across the globe.
