The Puerto Rican musician, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, also tells his fans to leave his official WhatsApp channel if they enjoy the AI-generated song.

AceShowbiz - Bad Bunny has denounced his AI-generated song. Making use of his official WhatsApp channel, the "I Like It" rapper urged fans to not attend his upcoming tour if they enjoyed the track that has become viral.

"If you guys liked that s**t of a song that's viral on TikTok, leave this group right now," the 29-year-old wrote in Spanish on November 6. "You don't deserve to be my friend, and for that [reason]."

Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, went on to stress that he made his new album, "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Manana", "to get rid of people like that." He then declared, "So then 'chu chu' out of hereā€¦ My God, I don't want you at the tour either."

Despite Bunny's condemnation, there are fans who openly praised the AI-generated song. "That Bad Bunny AI song is so f**king good, lol," one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter). "Bad Bunny hates that AI song with his voice, but it slaps so much sorry," another tweeted.

A different individual, meanwhile, came to the "Bullet Train" actor's defense. "I still don't understand why people are mad at Bad Bunny's reaction to that AI song. I would be upset too if my voice was being used like that, especially as an artist," the user opined.

Although many artists have voiced their concerns about AI songs, including Sting and Nick Cave, experimental pop artist Grimes loves it so much. The ex-girlfriend of Elon Musk has created her own AI song generator software, Elf.Tech, and is asking fans to create songs as long as she gets 50 per cent of the royalties.

"I'll split 50 per cent royalties on any successful AI generated song that uses my voice," she stated on X in April. "Same deal as I would with any artist I collab with. Feel free to use my voice without penalty. I have no label and no legal bindings."

"I think it's cool to be fused [with] a machine and I like the idea of open sourcing all art and killing copyright," she further elaborated. "We're making a program that should simulate my voice well but we could also upload stems and samples for ppl [people] to train their own."
