According to a new report, the Duke of Sussex has received an invite to the bash to celebrate the British monarch's milestone, but the former allegedly will not attend the soiree on November 14.

AceShowbiz - Prince Harry seemingly will sit out King Charles III's birthday celebration this year. If a new report is to be believed, the Duke of Sussex turns down an invitation to his father's 75th birthday party next week.

Insiders told Daily Mail that the British monarch's family and friends are set to attend the event. Harry also received an invite to the bash to celebrate Charles' milestone, but the former allegedly will not attend the soiree on November 14.

It was a huge difference from what happened five years ago when Charles celebrated his 70th birthday. At the time, Harry and Meghan Markle opted to halt their honeymoon to attend a garden party to celebrate Charles' 70th birthday.

The report claimed that it was the second time for Harry to turn down the chance to spend time with his father. Back in September, he refused to join the King in Balmoral on the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's death, even though he was on a visit.

The snub arrived after it was said that Harry and Charles still "don't speak much." A source told The Telegraph, "Communications between the King and Prince Harry remain pretty poor. They don't speak much, if at all."

The King allegedly was not happy with how Harry depicted Queen Camilla as a villain in his bombshell memoir "Spare". "I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar," Harry wrote in his book. He additionally accused Charles and Camilla of "planting stories" about William and his family, saying, "Give Pa and Camilla an inch, he said, they take a mile."

In other related news to the royal family, King Charles reportedly removed Prince Harry and Meghan's personal security in the U.K. after the couple stepped down as senior royal member and moved to the U.S. "The Sussexes had either to be safely in the tent in Britain or cast away and castigated as comprehensively as possible in order to reduce the threat of them eclipsing the rest of the family," a source told Byline Times.

"The greater truth is that Harry and Meghan make better headlines than the King and Camilla or William and Kate," the source continued. "The idea of them still being in public service but abroad and out of the control of the institution and dominating the media narrative just couldn't happen."

The report added the royal family "tried everything to make it fail, starting with the removal of security and then signing off on a 12-month assault by the U.K. press on Harry and Meghan and everyone in their orbit."
