Speaking to PEOPLE on Friday, November 3, a source spilled that the 43-year-old actor is "excited" about where he and the 34-year-old actress currently stand in their romantic relationship. The source went on to reveal, "It took him a while to feel happy and to find a new life. He can't stop smiling around [Zoe]. They are very cute together."
The new revelation about Channing's excitement for his engagement to Zoe came around four days after PEOPLE unveiled that he recently popped the question to her and she said yes. However, the outlet's sources did not offer any details of the exact date and place of their alleged engagement.
Previously, Zoe was spotted wearing seemingly an engagement ring. On October 28, she flashed a silver band that came with a sparkling huge diamond on that finger when she and Channing made an appearance at a star-studded Halloween party, which was hosted by reality TV star and model Kendall Jenner, at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
In pictures making their rounds online, the ring could clearly be seen as she was spotted arriving at the bash with Channing in their Halloween costumes. She was holding his hands and carrying a knife in her other hand. At that time, the couple was recreating looks of characters in "Rosemary's Baby", a 1968 thriller movie created by Roman Polanksi.
Channing and Zoe sparked romance rumors in 2021. The two reportedly started dating in summer that same year. In November 2022, she gave a rare insight into their relationship and told GQ magazine that he is "just a wonderful human."
Zoe exclaimed, "He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do. We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other."
Channing was previously married to actress Jenna Dewan from 2009 to 2019. The former couple is committed to co-parenting their 10-year-old daughter Everly "Evie" Tatum.
