Showing their relentless support for the rapper/songwriter, VIPs take to social media to express that they stand with him regardless and pray for his comeback.

AceShowbiz - VIPs have spoken up following the arrest of K-Pop star G-Dragon on drug charges. The BigBang member, whose real name is Kwon Ji Yong, has been booked under the suspicion of drug-related violation.

On Wednesday, October 25, News1 reported that the 35-year-old artist was booked without detention by the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency on the charge of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics, Etc.

The police said in a statement, "We are currently investigating the case for violating the Narcotics Control Act. We will quickly investigate the charges." They added, "Please understand that we cannot reveal specific details of the investigation, such as the type of drug."

Fans have since rallied around G-Dragon after news broke of his arrest. "Your fans love you Jiyong, we'll always stand beside you," one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Another tweeted, "I love and trust you #GDRAGON. VIP let's wait for our king!"

A third declared their relentless support for the star, "Yes, we love you @IBGDRGN and we're gonna keep on loving you, nothing will stop us." A fourth person wrote, "HE SAW AND HE KNOWS THAT WE WILL BE HERE! STAY STRONG G-DRAGON."

"When you said 'UNTIL WHENEVER' this is what we mean," another added, while someone else begged for his comeback, "GDragon this is not the comeback you promised us this year. Please let it be false."

"These G-Dragon accusations are too much for me," another fan commented. Seemingly blaming G-Dragon's former agency YG Entertainment for his arrest, someone else warned the company, "You will go downhill @ygent_official. This is not enough to drag you down. Tomorrow you will continue to fall down below that 50k market cap. Karma will hunt you all down GD doesn't deserve that treatment."

YG Entertainment, meanwhile, has issued a statement on G-Dragon's arrest. They told Xportsnews, "[G-Dragon] is currently not an artist under our agency, so it is difficult for us to make an official response."

Back in June, YG Entertainment announced that their exclusive contract with the singer/rapper, who rose to fame as a member of the hip-hop group BigBang, had expired.
