The former 'Two and a Half Men' star and the 'Bad Moms' actress are reportedly blaming each other for the online criticism addressed to them since they defended their convicted rapist friend.

AceShowbiz - Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' marriage is apparently put to the test following the fallout of their support for convicted rapist Danny Masterson. The pair have reportedly been blaming each other for the backlash they have received in the wake of their letter defending their former "That '70s Show" co-star.

"All the bashing they've been getting online and in the press has sent them into the bunker and now they're blaming each other," a source tells National Enquirer (via Radar Online) of the aftermath of Ashton and Mila's public support for Danny. While the former "Two and a Half Men" star has stepped down as chairman of the board at Thorn, an anti-child sex abuse organization he co-founded with Demi Moore in 2009, the pair are reportedly still struggling with fears that they sabotaged their careers.

"Mila and Ashton have never been so universally savaged," the source claims. "It's put an amazing strain on their relationship. In some ways, this is worse than a cheating scandal or political controversy."

Ashton and Mila allegedly also cannot agree on how to fix the fiasco. "Ashton thinks the best solution for them is to lie low," the informant spills. "But Mila says they need to get out there and make it clear they know they made a huge mistake."

The 40-year-old actress is itching to resume work on her new comedy "Goodrich", which began filming last spring before being halted by the dual Hollywood strikes, according to the report.

Ashton and Mila came under fire after they wrote a letter in support of Danny ahead of his sentencing. Danny was eventually sentenced to 30 years to life in prison after being found guilty of two counts of forcible rape against two women.

The couple later issued a public apology for the letter. "We are aware of the pain that has been caused by the character letters that we wrote on behalf of Danny Masterson," Ashton said in a video posted on Instagram. His spouse then added, "We support victims. We have done this historically through our work and will continue to do so in the future."
