AceShowbiz - NeNe Leakes' son Bryson Bryant has been released from jail. The eldest son of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum was released from Gwinnett County Jail on October 5 following fentanyl arrest on July 3.

According to Radar Online, Bryson was let go after posting a $6,100 bond. The 33-year-old was initially ordered to stay in Gwinnett County Jail until January 3, 2024 after being taken into custody on July 3 at around 1 A.M. at a home in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

At the time, Bryson was arrested for felony possession of fentanyl and a misdemeanor for loitering/prowling. Additionally, he was slapped with an additional charge of "giving a false name, address, or birthdate to a law enforcement officer" after pretending to be his younger brother, Brentt Leakes. As a result, the first few filings in the criminal case have Brentt's name on it.

NeNe talked about his son's legal trouble during her appearance on Carlos King's "Reality with the King" podcast. Noting that there's nothing she can do about his addiction, the former Bravo personality admitted, "He needs rehabilitation."

"He needs a lot of counseling. Like many families out there, I have family members that are struggling with drugs and certain addictions. He has an addiction," she continued. "He's been struggling with it for years. He's been in rehab for a couple of times and he still has come back out and relapsed."

The "Glee" star also shared that she felt frustrated as she couldn't do anything while seeing her son struggle. "As a mom just to watch it, my hands are tied," she explained. "[There's] not much that I can do. For people who have had children or family members that have been on drugs, they know that they have to be ready. They have to simply be ready."
