A few months after offering help to Josephine Wright, the 'Madea' star/director reportedly is building the elderly woman a new house in South Carolina which will feature 5 bedrooms.

AceShowbiz - Tyler Perry reportedly is making a new home for a grandmother. A few months after offering help to a woman named Josephine Wright, the "Don't Look Up" actor is stepping up to build a new property for the 93-year-old woman, who was pushed out of her house in South Carolina by developers.

Speaking to TMZ on Monday, October 16, a number of sources with direct knowledge revealed that the filmmaker is building Josephine a home in South Carolina, which will feature 5 bedrooms, "to replace the one she's living in with her grandkids." The sources went on to spill that a "construction crew will break ground on the home in the coming weeks" after all the permits are being taken care of. According to the outlet, her current home is also "at the center of a bitter land dispute."

Tyler's sweet gesture came a few months after it was reported that Josephine is in a battle with developers to fight for her home. In May, Josephine spoke to local news outlet WSAV about the harassment she received from the developers in an attempt to make her sell her property. She reportedly had refused to sell her home to the Bailey Point Investment Group, prompting them to file a "frivolous lawsuit" against her.

The outlet also revealed that Josephine's home "has been in the family since just after the Civil War" and her family "has ties" to the war. Josephine, who is "a grandmother to 40, great-grandmother to 50, and great-great-grandmother to 16," also told the outlet about the reason why she wants to fight for the property. "This house means it's a home, a place where I want to be at this age," she stated.

A few months later, Tyler stepped in and offered help to Josephine. On June 27, he penned in an Instagram post, " 'I've pretty much been a fighter all my life' said 93 year old Josephine Wright. Well, that makes two of us. Ms. Wright, please tell where to show up and what you need to help you fight." Along with it, the actor/director uploaded a video documenting Josephine's current home.
