AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian is showing endless support for Tristan Thompson even though they are no longer romantically together. In season 3 finale of "The Kardashians", the reality TV star revealed that she let her basketball player ex and his disabled brother move in with her following their mom's death in January.

In the Wednesday, July 26 episode of the Hulu series, Tristan, Khloe, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner were seen aboard Kim's private plane as they headed to Toronto after hearing the sad news. "Before we take off, I think we always take for granted saying, 'I love you' or how much you appreciate your loved ones," Tristan said. "Thank you guys, so much, from the bottom of my heart, really. For you to take time for my family means a lot."

Khloe said in a confessional, "I'm grateful that I'm strong enough and brave enough to be a support system for someone else that has no other support system right now. You don't have to treat me right for me to treat you right-it's not the way I was raised."

Khloe then recalled the time the Los Angeles Lakers player told her that his mom Andrea unexpectedly died of a heart attack at the age of 53. "I didn't really understand what he was saying," Khloe shared. "He was just like screaming on the phone, trying to tell me that she's gone, but I had no idea who he was talking about."

"I was really close to Andrea. We spoke every single day," the mom of two said. She also talked about Tristan's brother Amari, "Amari is 16, and he is severely disabled. It's just really sad, because we don't know what he knows or doesn't know, cognitively."

As Amari's legal guardian after Andrea's death, Tristan decided to bring him back to California. As to why they ended up living in Khloe's house, Khloe explained that it was because the house Tristan had been renovating suddenly became unlivable. "He was able to live there during renovations, but we had crazy weather for California, like extreme rains, and Tristan's roof caved in on his home and caused flooding," Khloe said. "Tristan and Amari are staying at my house right now until his home gets fixed."

Later in the episode, Kim poked fun at how Khloe failed to set boundaries with Tristan following his 2021 paternity lawsuit. "Isn't God just, like, funny?" Kim said. "You were so ready to have your year of being free, and now, Tristan had to move in with you, his little brother had to move in with you, his roof caved in. What are the chances?"

Despite letting Tristan and his brother live with her, Khloe stressed that they aren't back together. "I know it's hard for everyone to believe, but I love, love, love Andrea and I love Tristan. I love Amari. This is what family does," she insisted. "Tristan is the father of my kids... I know how close Tristan and his mom are, and I just, it's just heartbreaking. And then to be left with the responsibility of another person as well, it's a lot."

Khloe added, "I just think this is what family does when s**t hits the fan. All you have is your family. And Tristan and I are family, and we're gonna be family for the rest of our lives."
