Having been reported to have called off his engagement to his 'Beso' collaborator, the 'Todo de Ti' hitmaker insists 'third parties' are not the reason behind their split.

AceShowbiz - Rauw Alejandro has shut down cheating rumors. Shocking the public with news of his split from fiancee Rosalia, the "Todo de Ti" hitmaker confirmed their breakup, but stressed to fans there were no "third parties" involved.

Setting the record straight on the "infidelity" speculations, the 30-year-old singer made use of Instagram Story and Twitter simultaneously. Over a black screen, he wrote in Spanish, "During all these years you have been part of my professional achievements, as well as all the happy moments that I have lived."

"I never saw myself in the position of even thinking that I would have to give public statements on this matter that is so private to me," the "Te Felicito" singer continued. "Yes, a few months ago Rosi and I ended our engagement. There are thousands of problems that can cause a breakup, but in our case, it was not because of third parties or infidelity."

In his statement, Rauw added, "During this time that I'm taking to assimilate everything, there have been false public allegations, and because of the respect I have for her, our families and all we ever lived, I couldn't stay quiet and continue to see how they try to destroy the most real love story God has ever allowed me to live."

Rauw concluded his statement by thanking his devotees. "With nothing more to add, to my fans that I love so much, thank you for being there," he noted.

Rauw Alejandro stated that infedility was not the reason behind his split from Rosalia.

Rauw and Rosalia were reported to have called off their engagement just days earlier. On Tuesday, July 25, PEOPLE reported that the two decided to go separate ways despite the love and respect that they have for each other.

Before the breakup, Rauw had not been shy in publicly showering Rosalia with praises. In a March cover story for Billboard, he complimented her discipline and work ethic as saying, "Rosi has a more solid music base than I do in the sense that I'm more extroverted in my music, but she's far more disciplined. But she's a freak-crazy workaholic."

"Piano lessons, dance lessons, voice lessons; what else can you learn when no one sings like you? At the beginning, I didn't really get it, but after some time, I said, 'OK, let me try to follow her lead and see.' And the difference is huge," Rauw further elaborated.
