AceShowbiz - P. Diddy, Jeezy (Young Jeezy) and Timbaland have offered their support to DJ Khaled. On Thursday, July 20, the three hip-hop stars joined many in attending the "Every Chance I Get" singer's first-ever golf tournament organized by his foundation We The Best.
That very day, Khaled held the golf tournament for charity at the Beach Golf Club in Miami. In addition to the trio, other stars, including Fat Joe, Ja Rule and Serena Williams, have also made an appearance.
Upon receiving such support, the 47-year-old disc jockey did not forget to publicly thank them. Uploading an Instagram video taken from the tournament, he captioned the post, "Thank you everyone who participated, donated and SHOWED OUT at the WE THE BEST FOUNDATION X JORDAN GOLF CLASSIC!"
The "I'm the One" rapper went on to write, "Thank you to ALL our sponsors for helping us put on this incredible event for the kids! Thank you to my whole team! Jordan team! LETS GO!"
A number of videos recorded by various famous stars from Khaled's golf tournament were later reposted via Instagram by @thehiphopwolf. Positive responses quickly flooded in. In the comments section, one Instagram user stated, "Good to see everyone having fun." Another chimed in, "Khaled acts like a real groupie."
More than a month before the golf tournament took place, Khaled announced that he and his foundation would be holding a charity event. In an Instagram video published on June 8, he stated, "Just to be out on the golf course with close friends and family of mine is a blessing. Giving back makes it even better."
"I can't wait to see you all at the first-ever We the Best Foundation Golf Classic," he went on to say. "We're starting something very special here while introducing the sport of golf to a wider community."
Along with the video, Khaled wrote in the caption, "Bless Up! I had this incredible vision to combine my love of golf with my love to help others. So, it's my honor to invite you to the inaugural Jordan x We The Best Foundation Golf Classic! I’m so excited to host the golf classic in my city Miami!"
"While enjoying a day of fun, we'll also be raising funds to benefit the We The Best Foundation, where we aid underserved communities to be their best," he added.
