AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has sparked concerns among fans amid her split from Dalton Gomez. Fans alleged that her now-estranged husband might have been abusive to the "7 Rings" singer as she was caught liking a cryptic post on Instagram.
"Never again will I be in a relationship with someone I fear," so read the message. While it's unclear if the quote was related to Ariana's marriage to Dalton, fans were convinced that there was potential abuse during her relationship.
Ariana sparked speculation of marital rift after ditching her wedding ring at Wimbledon over the weekend. Page Six later claimed, "They came to the decision together. They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends. They've been really good friends throughout the entire process, and their friends and families have been trying to protect them."
TMZ went on to detail that the couple grew apart post-COVID pandemic as their lives were vastly different. He was allegedly taken aback by her celebrity lifestyle. Their differences started to make their marriage unravel and it was greatly exacerbated when she went to England last December to begin filming "Wicked". They began living separate lives until May, when they decided to take a shot at it again. But that only lasted two weeks before they both threw in the towel.
At one point, Dalton even traveled to London to visit Ariana in "last ditch attempt to save their marriage," but it "didn't work out."
Ariana, who has finished filming her scenes for the "Wicked" movie, was reportedly set to return to the U.S. on Thursday, July 20. The Sun said that she is intending to "race back to California" to "reunite with her friends and family following a tough few months where she tried to save her ailing marriage from the other side of the Atlantic."
