Shortly after the 'Mean Girls' actress welcomed her first child with Bader Shammas, the father of Lindsay Lohan expresses how he feels about being a grandfather.

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan's father is feeling "truly blessed." After the "Mean Girls" actress gave birth to her first child with husband Bader Shammas, her dad Michael Lohan voiced his thoughts about being a grandfather.
The 63-year-old proud grandfather expressed his feelings in an interview with PEOPLE on Tuesday, July 18. During the chat, he told the outlet, "We are all truly blessed in so many ways!" He went on to say, "All I can say is I'm so so happy for Lindsay and Bader! They will be amazing parents."
Having a baby boy added into the family, Michael reminded that Lindsay's son is his first grandson. "Michael has a little girl so this is the first little boy in the family and it's just wonderful," he said as referring to his 35-year-old son, Michael Lohan Jr., who shares a daughter, Isabel Scarlet, with his wife Nina Ginsberg.
Elsewhere in the interview, Michael also talked about Lindsay's condition post-giving birth. "Everything went great with Lindsay, absolutely amazing and the delivery went really smooth," he recalled.
Michael additionally admitted that seeing his daughter having a baby feels like a "dream" to him. In a separate statement to DailyMail.com, he excitedly said, "All I can say is, pinch me. I feel like I'm in a dream. My baby isn't my baby anymore - she's a mommy. I'm so happy for Lindsay and Bader. They'll be amazing parents to their blessed little boy, Luai."
Michael was not the only family member sharing thoughts on the arrival of Lindsay's baby boy. The actress' mother, Dina Lohan, told PEOPLE on Monday, July 17, "Overwhelmed with love and joy! My flight is today, so excited. He came two days early."
Lindsay was revealed to have given birth to Luai, her first child with husband Bader, on July 17. Her representative told PEOPLE, "The family is over the moon in love." While keeping most of the birth details under wraps, the rep did note that her baby was born in Dubai.
