AceShowbiz - Young Thug has released a music video for "Oh U Went" featuring Drake. The cinematic visuals, which arrived on Monday, July 17, is helmed by Nick Manterola and Garfield Larmond, Jr.
Thugger doesn't appear in the clip as he remains behind bars due to his RICO case. However, some people step in to sing along with his lyrics. As for Drake, he makes a cameo by spitting his bars at a joyous outdoor party.
On the catchy track, Thugger raps about his rising affluence. "Ayy, you went flyin' Bentley Spur/ Ayy, you went drivin' 'round the world/ Ayy, you went brown like a squirrel/ Ayy, you went Chanel pearls/ Ayy, you went Rolls-Royce car/ Ayy, you went Rolls-Royce truck/ Oh, you want war with all my h*es/ Oh, you want to line it all up," he raps in the chorus.
"Oh Went" appears on Thugger's latest album "Business Is Business", which hit streaming services on June 23. The project, which follows 2021's "Punk", consists of 15 tracks in total.
Drake is not the only artist to be featured in the album. It also has guest appearances from the likes of Future, 21 Savage, Lil Gotit, Yak Gotti, Travis Scott (II), Bslime as well as Fun.'s Nate Ruess.
The album itself is executive produced by Metro Boomin, who teased the project on social media. On June 16, Metro posted a QR code leading to a countdown on his website with the album title and a Young Thug tag.
One week before Thugger dropped "Business Is Business", his longtime pal and collaborator Gunna unleashed "a Gift & a Curse". The project, however, has no guest appearances from any artists.
