The 'Django Unchained' star is said to have held a party at the rehabilitation facility in Chicago recently to celebrate his ongoing recovery as he continues with outpatient rehab.

AceShowbiz - Jamie Foxx is excited to be out of the woods. Having spent months laying low as he's recovering from an undisclosed "medical complication," the actor reportedly recently threw a party "to celebrate being better."

According to PEOPLE, the Oscar winner held the party at the Chicago rehabilitation facility he has been going to. A source tells the site that the 55-year-old "has been working really hard these last couple of months to get back to normal and has greatly improved since he first got to the facility."

Despite his multiple public appearances, however, Jamie is not completely back on his feet. The source adds, "He is still doing some outpatient rehab though."

Jamie suffered what his daughter Corinne Foxx described as "medical complication" back in April. He was in Atlanta to film his upcoming movie "Back in Action". Amid conflicting reports about his condition, his daughter revealed on May 12 that her father had been "out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating."

Following his release from the hospital, the "Ray" star was then treated in a "physical rehab facility in Chicago" that specializes in "strokes and brain injuries." He was seen in public for the first time since his hospitalization on July 9. He was all smiles while cruising along the Chicago River in a large boat on Sunday afternoon with some family members.

He was also seen playing golf at Topgolf driving range's Naperville, Illinois branch last weekend and helping a woman who lost her purse in Chicago without her knowledge. Later on Tuesday, July 11 he was seen playing pickleball with other dudes in Chicago.

Instead of feeling relieved that he's doing well, some people doubted that it's really Jamie and raised a wild theory that he was cloned. Responding to the speculation, the "Django Unchained" star took to Instagram on July 12 to shut down people's doubt while also promoting his new movie "They Cloned Tyrone". "They didn't clone me but THEY CLONED TYRONE. See you July 21, only on @netflix #TheyClonedTyrone," so he wrote along with the movie's poster.
