AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian is setting the record straight. The reality TV star took to her Instagram account to shut down "twisted" claims that she shaded Blac Chyna over her parenting of daughter Dream, whom she shares with Khloe's brother Rob Kardashian.
In Instagram Stories, Khloe criticized "clickbait headlines" that suggested she shaded Blac in the Thursday, July 13 episode of "The Kardashians", in which she said that she felt like a third parent for Dream. "It saddens me to see clickbait headlines that are taken out of context or twisted to be something it's not," Khloe wrote shortly after the episode aired.
She stressed, "I love ALL of my nieces and nephews more than I can express. Dream and I are particularly close. My brother and I are extremely close. I am with Dream all the time because I'm with my brother all the time. I love her beyond measure."
"I take pride in this love and always have," she added. "I wholeheartedly believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Life is full of ups and downs and I am proud that we have a family that can lean on one another. That's what family does. We are a tribe and all of us will always be there for one another. Especially the babies."
In the next slide, the Good American founder said that the narrative ruined her niece's 6th birthday party as the episode saw Khloe helping Rob plan the bash. "Life is challenging enough. I hate how something so sweet as Dream's 6th birthday is getting twisted," she noted.
"Rob is doing the best he can as a parent and in life. Angela is doing the best she can as a parent and in life," the mom of two added, referring to Blac's real name Angela White. "I am doing the best I can as a parent and in life. We are ALL trying to do our best in life. Our children and healthy and happy! Most of all they are LOVED!! LOVED by everyone in our tribe."
The "Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian" alum continued, "I'm sure the narrative of 'The Kardashian's VS Chyna' is more fun to read about but there really is nothing there anymore. We all want to move on from the negativity. The focus is on Dream and her happiness and making sure she feels unconditional love at her mommy's house, her daddy's house and any family members house for that matter."
"Please stop pinning us against one another. Life is hard enough. Let's try to lead with love and understanding especially when children are involved who may see your clickbait one day," she concluded.
In the episode, Khloe reflected on her relationship with Rob, Dream and Blac in a confessional. "I feel like I'm a third parent for Dream," she shared. "I do know how important it is for Dream to have a great maternal influence. Whether that be from me or her own mom or whoever, it's important and wherever she gets it from she gets it from."
"Dream is one of my babies too, just like all the rest of them, and I absolutely love being a mom to people. I love mothering people, I don't know if they like that or not but it's in my blood just to be a mom. I wouldn't have it any other way," she added. "I do not have a relationship with Dream's mom. [It] is hard to have a relationship with someone when they sue you for hundreds of millions of dollars."
The episode also saw Khloe joking about being a "third wheel" to Rob and Blac. Scott Disick then replied, "You're, like, the wheel that makes the car move." He also said, "You're basically somewhat of a co-parent to Dream," adding that Khloe is "like, more than an aunt" to Dream.
