Federal files of Bossie's arrest, which were obtained by TMZ, showed that he was charged with gun possession by a felon, similar to his previous case. It stemmed from his Instagram Live streaming on May 6, wherein he was spotted having a gun tucked in the waistline of his pants while sharing the filming process of a music video.

Officers from the San Diego PD later pulled over a Mercedes SUV car that had Boosie, his guard and his driver in it. Upon further search, a cop discovered a loaded Hellcat 9mm in his guard's bag as well as a loaded Glock 9mm on the back seat of the car where Boosie was seated.

The loaded Glock matched with the gun tucked in Boosie's waistline in his Instagram Live. As a result, Boosie, his guard and his driver were all arrested. Investigators further claimed that they heard the spitter shouting at the guard, "You told me they were in the bag," during the arrest.
